My search for debt free status

It’s never easy finding your way out of debt. I had been trying to do this for years, but every time I thought that I was getting ahead of the game, a big bill would come in from nowhere, and I would fall behind on some other debt! The problem for me was that I owed money to so many different people that it was almost impossible for me to keep track with what I did and didn’t owe, and to whom!
Eventually I got to the stage where I just couldn’t cope with the stress of it all, and I decided to have a look online to see if there was anything that I could do to improve my situation. I came across a company who were offering credit card debt relief. This sounded pretty interesting to me, and as I read through the site, it became clear that this was something that would definitely help my plight.
I got in touch with the company and they suggested that I sign up to their credit card consolidation service. This would involve them reducing my overall payments and it meant that I would only have to pay one lump sum every month, rather than paying several different companies which was so hard to keep track of. Best of all this was a ”free debt relief service so I wouldn’t incur any further costs.
After a few months of keeping to this agreement I suddenly noticed that for the first time in years the amount I owed was clearly going down! All I had to do was to keep up with my one payment per month and it would all be gone in a matter of a couple of years! With this peace of mind I could finally get on with my life again.
